The brief audience feedback I have recieved is quite positive. They indicated in particular that they liked the font of the masthead and the colour of the font. Because it's red and bold they said it would stand out on a magazine rack.
Despite the positives there was a strong consensus that the background is quite boring. I agree however, on a magazine such as FourFourTwo the background is often plain so that the main image becomes more important. They also said that without reading it, the image doesn't connote sport.
They also liked the way I seperated the magazine and the website. Though they did say the website sounded quite empty.
